You can set up a server to act as a gateway, forwarding ports between your IoT device and your other LTE-connected device. This allows secure communication while maintaining both connections.

Certainly! Let's discuss the devices in detail. I'll cover the specifics of your IoT setup and connectivity options. Please let me know if you'd like any adjustments.

- Could you clarify what kind of IoT device you're referring to? Knowing its model helps with compatibility.
- Does it feature multiple ports for expansion or additional functionality?
- Are there any features like UPnP or port forwarding enabled for easier access?
- Will your setup use a static IP address, or will you be relying on a dynamic DNS service?
- If needed, I can help set up a bridge to manage traffic or configure a router for better network control.

I set up a forwarding server. My IoT gadget is part of a project using an ESP8266, which connects to a LTE hotspot for WiFi. There’s no static IP option, and it can’t bypass all the NAT rules from the ISP.
