I really dislike engaging with trolls, but here I am anyway. It seems my point isn’t clear because I didn’t mention selling my house. My home is a bit unusual—there’s at least one or two devices in nearly every room. Could they be wireless? Of course, but why not enjoy the benefits of a wired setup if I have to run some cables? I didn’t say anything about streaming services being a problem, so I’m not sure where you’re coming from. The VPN phones we must use at work have real issues with wireless connections. If I decide to go with cable, I’d better make the most of it. Other common wired gadgets include gaming consoles, office computers for meetings, video surveillance systems, and a few gaming PCs. It’s odd you’re using quotes when I never made that statement. The Wi-Fi works fine for most tasks, but our work phones need a strict setup, so I’d prefer to get the best performance. Also, since we’re running a combined modem/router right now, maybe check before assuming anything. I might regret feeding the troll, but I’m feeling like talking today. Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions—it really means a lot!
