About three or four months ago, fiber optics were installed outside my home. I’m currently paying for speeds around 15-20 Mbit/s. Recently, my ping in CSGO and RB6 has increased noticeably. Normally I see 100-300 ping for CSGO and 150-200 for RB6. I checked my internet speed on Google (see picture below) and it matches what I’m paying for. With those speeds, I expect around 10-20 ping for CSGO. Sometimes at night the readings are much slower—like 0.31 download and 1-2 upload speeds. I’m unsure if this is related to my issue. Any advice on how to fix it? Should I contact the fiber company or just wait? Thanks!

Your internet speed isn't related to your ping. The server location you're connected to (which you've hidden) and the game servers in use are the key factors. Heavy traffic can impact performance, and restarting your modem or router may help. Contacting your ISP could reveal outages or other issues.

Bandwidth isn't the same as latency. There are some methods to connect the two, but they ignore certain shared medium traits. I'd run a quick tracert to a few sites and check if latency appears at specific hops. It seems like upstream congestion might be the issue if you're sure no other devices are uploading or downloading large files.
