I have a Windows 10 machine that moves around an office with multiple Wi-Fi hotspots. It uses a Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A adapter and is experiencing slow file transfers locally. The adapter relies on DHCP but has IP address reservation active, so its IP should remain stable. When I run 'netsh wlan show wlanreport', the output shows no events, which seems odd since the PC only connects via Wi-Fi for internet access. I have several wired connections for other devices, but they don’t affect internet use. The issue likely lies with the wireless setup or network configuration rather than the hardware itself. I’m trying to check logs to determine if the problem is on the PC or the IT side. Is there a specific procedure or setting that would make this report show activity? Should I look into monitoring adapter performance or IP changes? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.
