I’d choose a budget-friendly Netgear Orbi. I’ve been using it for three years and it performs really well.

I face a comparable scenario like the OP did. Some parts of my home are blocked from the signal. When I’m ready, that’s the model I’m considering. The main drawbacks compared to others are its appearance and price. The set I prefer is around $350 US here, whereas my current Netgear router was about $100 US, which felt expensive at the time.

I'm using a Google Wi-Fi 2 pack and it works great. I can manage it from my phone without needing to restart anything.

They offer great value when purchased from reputable stores like Best Buy or similar retailers. I found them at Costco, where prices typically fall between $120 and $300.
