Network joining fails even with a wired link
I own a Windows 10 laptop with two wireless and one wired network. ISSUE: With the wired link active, the wireless devices fail to join their assigned known or saved networks. After removing the Ethernet cable and restarting the machine, the Wi-Fi cards reconnect automatically as needed. Suggestions on how to ensure wireless NICs connect without relying on the wired connection.
Wired is typically favored over Wi-Fi since it offers quicker and more reliable performance. You can set your Wi-Fi to stay active even when wired remains connected: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...1e38812e32
According to sources, Wired remains the main focus, and you may need to adjust certain settings in the registry to prevent further changes.
