Hi, I've been having this strange problem, where about 70% of the time that I boot up Arch after it's been shut down for a bit, the Netowork will fail in a very strange way. It's not a problem with my network or router or anything. Anyways, in my Waybar, it will display 'disconnected' in the network module. If i try systemctl --user restart NetworkManager.service, it doesn't fix it, making me think that it might be a driver issue, but I downloaded the linux-firmware package a long time ago. The weird thing, the setup didn't used to have this weird network issue, but about 3 months ago it randomly cropped up, and I haven't been successful in fixing it. Here is my wifi card: lspci -k | grep -A3 -i network 00:14.3 Network controller: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH CNVi WiFi (rev 10) DeviceName: WLAN Subsystem: Intel Corporation Device 02a4 Kernel driver in use: iwlwifi I'm running my Archlinux + Hyprland setup alongside Windows 11 (on separate drives) for a dual boot with grub, on an ROG Strix G531GT laptop, if that helps. I would be very grateful for any suggestions you have. Thanks for reading!

● NetworkManager.service status updated. Loaded successfully from /usr/lib/systemd/system/NetworkManager.service. Active since February 7, 2026. Current run time: 10:13:55 MST. Last invocation timestamp: 989abb7b1d71452982882491cb2048a3. Documentation reference: man:NetworkManager(8). Running tasks: 4 (max allowed: 18975). Memory usage: 25.7M peak, 27.2M average. CPU utilization: 1.318s. CGroup path: /system.slice/NetworkManager.service └─686 /usr/bin/NetworkManager --no-daemon. This behavior occurs during network issues, but I observe different outputs when using ip link—showing only loopback and carrier status. No changes to TTY settings planned. Thanks!

Do you mean the device is powered off or just sleeping? If it's the latter, include `usbcore.autosuspend=-1` in the kernel boot settings. This issue often happens because Linux is turning off unused devices.
