I've consistently faced issues with any kind of connection in the bathroom—Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or wireless gaming headphones. For instance, my router sits just 3 meters away and provides a very poor signal. Other rooms in the house, even those farther out like 15 meters, have stable connections. Could it be a router problem or is the air humidity affecting performance?

I think there might be some metal in or on the walls, perhaps on the door. It’s possible you’re inside a Faraday cage in your bathroom. The water-resistant paint or tiles could contain metal that blocks radio waves.

There could be an issue blocking the Bluetooth connection. I believe the bathroom walls are denser, and water doesn’t assist much. How long do you intend to stay there? Just turn up the speaker volume and you’ll hear the music no matter where you are. Installing a suitable water heater for the shower isn’t possible due to the 16 Amp restriction—it’s a significant challenge.

I'm fairly sure there is no metal in the wall between the router and the bathroom. The tiles are very old and I have 0 clue what materials they are made of. Edit: They are ceramic.

The 800-watt speakers are handling the audio, but the main issue is the poor connection in the billiard room next to the bathroom.

Some vintage tiles, particularly smaller ones, were originally placed on a wire mesh sheet to avoid needing thousands of 1-inch tiles. This setup might lead to a Faraday cage effect. Are your tiles covered with mesh?

I resided in a more established house and faced signal problems in specific areas, particularly when moving outdoors. It turned out that many walls held lead paint hidden under the current latex coating.
