Hi, I’m not sure about that. Using the same name, password, and security settings on your new router won’t automatically connect you to it. You’ll need to enter the same details again on each device.

If the SSID and password match, logically you shouldn't expect any issues.

Ensure consistency by maintaining identical SSID, password, and encryption settings. Remember, the SSID is case-sensitive.

It looks like the issue is resolved—no Mac binding needed for that specific AP/Router on your client.
