When I begin broadcasting, the recording appears to have excellent resolution and frame rates; however, during gameplay, there’s no performance drop. When I actually start streaming the footage that’s uploaded to YouTube, it becomes choppy and the picture quality deteriorates. My computer consists of an i5 2550k processor paired with a gt 710 graphics card and 6GB of RAM. I typically stream at 720p/30fps using a bitrate of 2500kbps, and my upload speed is approximately 33mbps. Therefore, recording functions properly, but the streaming video viewed by my audience suffers from lag. I’m utilizing OBS for this purpose.
