I previously had a C100C. After downloading large files, it slows down quickly—starting at 500MB and increasing further. Within five minutes, the internet drops completely even though the device remains connected; it shows "No Connection" in Device Manager. After rebooting the PC, it functions normally again. Whenever I download big files, it shuts off. Why does it stop despite my connection being 10Gbps? I recently replaced the cables, switched to a new switch, and it works now.

I just installed the newest firmware for Marvell Public Drivers: Windows, AQC107, version 1.8.0_3.1.121a. The update came from their site and I modified the XML file using their guide. So far I’ve been able to run a game without network issues. Keep in mind this only applies to v1 cards; if it’s v2, the firmware will still show 0.0.0 and you should avoid proceeding. I’m not sure if this will solve the problem permanently since the system crashes even when connected to the onboard, likely due to Windows networking failing and needing a reboot.

Bad news, it failed again today. I replaced it with an Intel i225; 2.5Gbit will be used instead. It's odd because the same model runs on my Linux machine without issues. Under heavy load, it dropped from 84C to 80C after enabling EEE on the switch. Either this is due to manufacturing differences or temperature effects, or maybe a compatibility problem with AMD chips. (My Linux box uses Intel.) I never considered updating the AMD driver for newer chipsets.
