I have a laptop model 17 and recently faced frequent internet interruptions in-game lasting about a minute and a half, sometimes up to five minutes. Occasionally it drops completely. I’m pretty sure the issue lies with the PC itself, not other devices. I’ve tried various solutions and am thinking about getting a WiFi adapter extension. Drovers helped only briefly. The problem isn’t limited to the game—it affects the whole system, including Discord. I found a 60 dollar card online, possibly an Intel 7265 Wireless-AC with up to 867 Mbps speed. It’s possible the signal weakens when passing through walls or corners inside the house. The card claims it works from 0 to 80°C, but I’ve kept the overheat setting on and even ran heavy stress tests without exceeding 75°C. After three gaming sessions, it still didn’t work. Please help me resolve this.

Wifi router model? Check your PC or nearby devices. Are there any phones around? Use an app to check your Wi-Fi channels and network count.

My configuration outputs -63 to -59, likely representing streaming resolution, and connects via wireless AC at 867 Mbps.

Experimenting with Wi-Fi frequencies. Choose a channel matching others while minimizing the number of devices on that frequency.

For someone new to networking, consider starting with a beginner-friendly software like Wireshark or GNS3. A practical method is to follow online tutorials and hands-on labs.

To switch channels, you must adjust it directly within the router. Several applications and programs are available to help you identify your network.
