I’m looking at the used market for a good deal. The B550M mortar Wi-Fi is listed at £70, but I’m comparing it with other options. A PG Riptide model costs around £110, while another similar one is available for £40. The link you shared points to that specific listing.

For a setup focused on the R5 5600, any B550 board works well since they accommodate a 65W chip. If you plan to upgrade to a Ryzen 9 later, the B550M Mortar stands out as the top-performing mATX board in Hardware Unboxed's tests, reaching up to 71C after an hour with Blender on an overclocked processor. The cost feels fair and isn’t overpriced.

There’s also a b550-I gaming item on eBay for 77 pounds with several bids. Since I’m considering the SFF option, I’m slightly more inclined toward that. Would you think it makes sense? Here’s the link: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/166559692595?...media=COPY I don’t focus on productivity, but I’ll likely upgrade to a 5800X3D later. I’ll also need two USB 2 headers and at least five USB ports (excluding headers). I’ll wait until this evening; if no one bids, I’ll go ahead and purchase it, possibly placing a bid even if someone else does. Thanks!

The MSI B550M mortar offers unexpectedly strong Wi-Fi performance—consider it if possible.

The B550-i listing looks promising. It might be better to explore both options rather than focusing on just one. You could try bidding on the mortar and also check the itx board for additional opportunities. This way you can secure your preferred items like the atx PSU and 280mm aio.
