Hey everyone, it's been a while since I shared anything here, but lately I've faced quite a few Windows problems. My old HP Omen 17 (Windows 10 Pro) would keep bluescreening after a post with the message "Process1 Initialization failed," then jump into the recovery menu after several bad starts. Disk repair attempts work both online and offline, but I can't even get back to Windows Media unless I run chkdsk. It's happened twice now, and I'm stuck until I fix it with chkdsk. I'm not super familiar with Windows boot stuff, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Whats probably happening iss you are fixing the problem and rebooting at some point, then windows kicks off update and re-ruins what you just fixed, making yoou fix it again. At the very least you have some kind of file corruption and II would back up your important stuff at this point before it fails unrecoverably. If that goes well, then reinstall windows and work from there.

It appears the disk may be failing. Save any important data immediately. It’s possible the system won’t start at all on the next boot. In the Windows Event Viewer, check the System section for errors or critical events.
