Did you apply the media creation utility on the identical machine? Can you disable EUFI in the BIOS and attempt a boot using the USB, or would you prefer to retry and then use Rufus to generate a bootable USB? This method offers additional settings compared to the Microsoft tool, though it is simpler.

Initially I installed the MCT on my PC, then tested it on an older Mac using exFAT USB, and finally on a friend's machine after confirming everything was fine. The system is currently set to UEFI with Legacy Mode in boot priority. I also tried booting from an HDD alone without the SSD, which failed with persistent errors. On my friend's PC I could use Rufus to create images.

I'm currently positioned here. The image shows an unexpected Boot(XSmile entry, which isn't my primary drive, yet there are windows present. My local disk (CSmile also contains folder areas with windows.

For those who might need it, I resolved the problem by accessing the BIOS and navigating to advanced settings, specifically enabling secure erase. This method seems to fully wipe your SSD, as the disk utility doesn’t seem to handle it properly. Thanks!

Great update, though in the initial image the recommended action was to remove every partition and then select the remaining one before proceeding and clicking next. Another path achieved the same outcome.
