Hi, I need a motherboard for my Vostro 3500 with i5-1135G7. I couldn’t find a trustworthy seller or listing; I checked AliExpress but the options were confusing. If anyone can assist in locating the right product, I’ll go ahead and purchase it to replace the laptop’s board. The issue started after a few months when the screen turned black. I sent it to the store I bought it from, but they shipped it to Dubai or the US without clear details—shipping costs were added, then I received it back working. Later, it stopped again, and even after visiting a repair shop, no one could fix it. Now my laptop is dead, and I’m left with a dead machine I bought with my savings, hoping for a new one to last longer. Along the way, a RAM failure occurred, and my power supply also failed. Attempting to power on the system with the supply connected can lead to different outcomes. If it boots into a black screen with intense fan noise, or displays an amber error code on the power LED, you may be able to resolve the issue using Dell's BIOS recovery utility. This worked for my Latitude 5480.
The device displays a black screen only. I need to inspect the fans, but I assumed it needed repair. The technician attempted fixes but failed, advising a new board is necessary. He managed to get it to boot initially, but the SSD stopped working, so he reversed his work. I believe this isn’t a BIOS problem, even though the repairs seemed to cause irreversible damage.
