The likely model is a 12400 with an DDR5 chipset. Running a 3700 could work while retaining the motherboard, though calculations are necessary. If you prefer staying on the AMD side, that’s the only choice. In the US, a 3600 or 3700 might make sense. A 3700 should suffice for gaming until console updates occur. It consumes more power than a 1600, so your maximum might be limited to a 3600 on that platform. Still could work. Using Intel would require a new motherboard. You’ll need to verify memory speed since the 12400f has speed restrictions; this might be incorrect. If your RAM stays under limit, it’s fine. The 12400f offers more than just performance—it pushes you toward newer boards. By now, I’d suggest considering LGA1700 DDR5 options if you’re replacing everything. I believe a motherboard swap will still be necessary since the PCIE is faulty, causing bottlenecks. My RAM speed is around 2133 MHz or similar, though I'm not completely certain. I’d definitely like to replace this motherboard anyway. I’m aware it’s essentially the same model. I see F being more affordable in my country compared to what you mentioned, so you think Intel might be offering a better option?
