I’ll check out Ubuntu or Pop-OS. Both are user-friendly, and setting them up should be simple.

I'm switching to Linux because I dislike how much Windows slows things down. My laptop is a 250 USD model with 4GB RAM, an Intel Pentium quad-core processor, and an integrated GPU. It was likely purchased between 2018 and 2019, and I still prefer Windows but can easily change.

Linux Mint fully installed and working smoothly. Runs reliably as a daily driver on an 11-year-old HP Core 2 Duo machine without any problems.
