It is very unlikely that this is indicating any issue with your system. This count is known to increase whenever the PCIe device changes power states, or when it switches to a different PCIe generation, which happens as a power saving feature. If you aren't actually noticing any issues with the PCIe device, I wouldn't worry about it.

It seems you're curious about potential issues with your PCIe device. It's normal to feel unsure when learning about such technical details. The change from "NAK sent" to "NAK received" could indicate a status update in the communication protocol, which is typical. Keep exploring—you're on the right track!

By "issues" I mean that the device is actually having a problem. For example, if it's a graphics card, is it underperforming or messing up the output to the display? If it's a Wi-Fi adapter, is your signal cutting out? If it's a sound card, are you getting distorted audio? I'm not familiar with what "NAK" would be, but again, unless you're actually having a problem, I wouldn't worry about it.

It seems like you're clarifying that these aren't actual problems or mistakes.

They represent genuine mistakes but aren't always signs of trouble. Such issues frequently occur with both hardware and software. You can check the Windows Event Viewer to see common warnings and errors that appear on your system. These are real events that have taken place, yet unless they lead to problems or reveal a more serious problem, you can often safely overlook them.

I understand the complete picture now. Thanks a lot! It looks like this power-saving feature is probably the main focus.
