Hello. Your current setup includes a new computer with several components, but I notice some performance issues with input lag and screen tearing during games like Apex, Warzone, and CSGO. Your monitor is a 1080p, 144Hz display from 2019, which may not be optimized for modern gaming settings. It’s possible the display cables or connections could affect performance. Consider checking your monitor’s cable quality, ensuring proper power delivery, and verifying that your graphics drivers are up to date. If the problem persists, you might want to test with a different monitor or consult a professional for further troubleshooting.

I would disable the vertical sync and verify that your refresh rate is configured properly using the advanced monitor settings.

I limited my peak FPS to near the display's refresh rate, setting it at 140 when the monitor supports 144.

My display supports AMD Freesync, though I don’t have an AMD GPU, my monitor isn’t Freesync-compatible, and I’m unsure how to turn it on.

You might want to adjust the monitor to 120Hz and either set the framerate to 120 or enable VSync. Using 144 would be problematic without Gsync, as it could cause screen tearing. Without matching frame rate and refresh rate, performance will suffer. It’s not a hardware problem—it’s intentional design. I’m having trouble with DPI too; it causes lag and tearing. I only use HDMI, which is why I’ve spent so much time trying to fix it.
