I received a balanced allocation of RAM. The CPU temperature reached 80°C. I plan to install a cooling pad. Game settings were set to the lowest possible and high-performance power plan.
Keep the temperature in check by reducing the clock speed with throttling. Try this and notice the difference.
ok thx. It is a laptop so ya lol. Ill do that. also here is my gpu menu in task manager.
Thanks! I'm currently stuck at 2.4 GHz, but it's now working smoothly at 72 under full load. Hope this helps!
It performs smoother now and supports higher graphics settings. However, occasional stuttering remains.
I wondered if it impacted my performance. Consider disabling hyperthreading or shutting down a few cores. That could help lower the CPU temperature. My machine has a 6C12T processor. I plan to start with HT, and if it stays hot, I'll switch off two cores while keeping HT active. It's definitely a hassle. Guess what’s causing the laptop gaming issues.
Your processor performance is fixed. Raising the limits might help a bit. Increase turbo speed but cap CPU usage. Follow my advice before. Your model seems to be 4C8T. Avoid shutting off any cores. Disable HT while keeping turbo active. Observe the results. HT influences temperature as I know.
I believe my memory is running low—currently at 14.3 GB out of 16 GB. I’m trying to figure out ways to free up RAM on the GPU and boost it from the CPU. I checked the BIOS, but I’m not sure what options are available.
I'm just sitting through the menu, then it goes black for a second and crashes! No error message appears. Running at low settings, 100fps normally. Need help! My PC is on a high-performance plan—i5 1135g7 i7 iris with 16GB RAM. I've installed the newest drivers. I had stuttering issues in Forza Horizon 4, so I stopped using it. In the demo it worked perfectly. Now it crashes, even without Wi-Fi, but I want to play multiplayer. Edit: I rolled back to driver version 1913 and still need to test.
