Hey there, I’ve been facing this problem for weeks and I’m struggling to find a solution. I keep getting ideas dry. The Issue: My monitor suddenly stopped working after a few weeks. Even after swapping it out, my PC didn’t show any output. The debug light kept flashing at the CPU, which I’ve dealt with before—just re-seating RAM and clearing CMOS helped. That fixed it temporarily… but now the system restarts randomly, whether I’m playing games or just browsing YouTube. Background Info: A couple of months back I had a similar problem when turning on XMP/EXPO caused crashes or restarts. Switching it off for a while resolved it, but now even with default BIOS settings it’s happening again. What I’ve Tried: Reseated CPU and RAM Cleaned the whole PC Replaced CMOS battery Updated BIOS Reinstalled drivers Checked Event Viewer → shows Event 41 (Kernel-Power) Each time something changes, it seems to work for a short while or a few days… then the random restarts return. Specs: CPU Ryzen 5 5600 Mobo; MSI B450M; GPU GTX 1060; RAM Crucial Ballistix 16GB (2x8GB) @ 3200 MHz; PSU Seasonic m12ii evo 620W; Storage Teamgroup 256GB M.2 SSD + WD Blue 1TB HDD. I don’t have spare parts, so any tips or possible causes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Consider your temperatures (CPU and GPU) to identify any thermal problems. A basic solution might involve applying more thermal paste. Tools such as GPU-z or HWinfo64 can help track your temps and voltages, assisting in diagnosing the issue.

Conditions are typical, only the thermals were changed after reassembly

Regarding the voltages, and in agreement with the other user, running a test on a different power supply would be beneficial.

They seem quite ordinary, right? It's just hanging out for now.

Hello, I had randome restarts. It was RAM. Did you already ran memcheck ? Build in windows tool to check your RAM. I recommend running it with one Stick at a time. The probability is low but you never know.

I ran the Windows built-in memory test and memtest, but the issue kept happening even after troubleshooting.

I'm not sure about Vcore since there aren't many tools to measure it precisely. However, I'm pretty sure your +5V is too low. 4.9V would be quite low, and 4.4V might actually shut down your 5V devices such as USB, SSD, and Wi-Fi adapters. This could definitely trigger a reboot. I recommend testing your voltages with another power supply to confirm. It's possible the sensors are incorrect, but the PSU seems more likely to be the issue.
