I believe I should dive into some games to see how the new CPU performance affects them. Even though I'm eager to find a satisfying overclock, I'm still uncertain about its real-world value. Does this really matter for gaming or is it more about something else?

Run prime 95 at 26.6 and realbench for 8 hours each, making sure it's stable.

I’m considering jumping into some games to see how the new CPU speed performs. Even though I’ve been really focused on getting an OC that works well, I’m not sure if this will actually help. Is this more about gaming performance or something else?

Yes, there is a slight overclock engaged on afterburner. You might want to increase the CPU speed if needed. For Prime95, keep an eye on temperatures, crashes, or you can run it unattended for up to eight hours.

You can simply allow it to operate. It serves as a temporary and stability check. If temperatures rise excessively, the system may shut down.

Can you operate it quietly in the background while I'm engaged in other tasks?

Not while you rest or are absent. It's a stress test, utilizing full CPU capacity.
