I recently installed a 5950x and an ASUS Crosshair Hero 8 motherboard. I managed to achieve around 4.4 GHz on all cores, but when using PBO Auto it can push closer to 5 GHz on certain cores. The main issue is that most cores operate in the 3 GHz range. You’re wondering if there’s a way to set a minimum or base frequency of 4.4 GHz while still letting some cores boost to higher speeds independently, so you can get the best performance possible? Keep it at 4.4 for all cores, achieving 5 GHz across 2 to 4 cores while setting left cores to 4.4 GHz
