I considered it even though I swapped the motherboard yesterday for a new one since the original model was a Gigabyte B550m DS3H. I believed that might be the problem. Now, after installing it, I’m still facing issues. The method I used to secure the card with two chassis screws seems to be the cause.

Give it a test run, align your computer flat so the graphics card faces the motherboard straight. Even after securing it inside the case, avoid tightening it at both ends—let it hang slightly. Let it operate normally for a while and notice any fewer problems.

Memtest provides limited information unless you let it operate for an extended period. Odd problems may appear at the start or after some time. I recommend testing with another type of RAM. Running components separately inside the case is also a good idea to ensure there are no hidden shorts. Did you use a different power source? Ideally in another room. This helps confirm if the issue lies with the outlet rather than the internal wiring.

I changed the RAM in both PCs again, but the problem returned. I'm attempting the ultimate check by swapping my 3900X with her 5600X. Otherwise, it seems unlikely it's a GPU issue since I previously swapped the motherboard and GPU in my test, and the GTX 970 4G from Zotac is quite compact. I'll share more details about the CPU test later.

The CPU swap had no effect on the situation.
