I believe I selected the right OpenCL benchmark for assessing image processing. Geekbench isn't relevant here; AI evaluations use Geekbench ML scores instead. The choice now hinges on whether you prioritize higher GPU power or better CPU performance. Options include a 30% boost in GPU with the 4070ti Super, or a stronger CPU with the 7950X and a less powerful 6950XT for around 550 euros.

I don’t desire anything positive from generative AI since I’m drawn to experimenting with it both as a developer and an art enthusiast. It unsettles me in the same way heroin does.
...told you it was strange :-D
Anyway, despite seeming irrational, that’s just how things are.
Lucky_SLS, my 83% numbers come from comparing an RTX 4070 Ti (not as powerful as you mentioned, sorry, my error – but still a solid modern GPU) to an RX 6950 XT: 206419 vs 170357, which means the latter is roughly 83% faster.
Right now there’s a good offer on this site that ships to my country, I think:
https://www.rueducommerce.fr/p-radeon-rx...15333.html
So I’ll prioritize more CPU and RAM performance over a less powerful GPU. Most image processing tools still don’t fully utilize the GPU, even Adobe’s apps. Changing old algorithms to modern tech like GPUs requires a lot of work, and a complete rewrite carries the risk of unexpected issues.

Preparing to study your AMD build tomorrow, with an air cooler as suggested by Lucky_SLS, looks promising. Thank you very much.
I have a brief question—do you confirm your 1050W power supply selection? It appears the system's estimated requirement is 664W, possibly due to the lower power consumption of AMD CPUs compared to Intel ones. A 400W safety margin seems quite generous?

A general guideline suggests keeping system power use within 65% of the PSU's maximum capacity. This places it in the ideal range for energy efficiency.
