I've been studying a lot recently and planning to purchase some items. I'm seeking advice or considering changes before making decisions. The setup includes Tower 900 with an Intel 9900K CPU, Gigabyte Z390 AORUS MASTER ATX motherboard, Nvidia GeForce GTX 2080, and Super memory. I'm trying to figure out if Corsair or G.skill RAM options like CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 or CMW32GX4M2D3600C18 are worth it, or if the f4-3200c16d-32gvk is a better choice. I'm not very familiar with RAM specs and have only checked top lists for the 9900K.
This machine is primarily intended for general use. A RAM speed of 3600Mhz is usually sufficient; upgrading to 3200Mhz or less is beneficial if timing constraints exist. Lowering it to CL14 or below may be advantageous.
Usually focused on gaming, occasionally working with videos or photos, but not often.
actually dont mind one or the other, i'll put enough light in the tower that it'll light up enough

Seeing as you're gaming, any 3200c16 or 3600c18 kit will do. Unless you're that hung up on OCing, there's no real reason to go higher
I didn’t overclock the system before, so this shouldn’t happen too. I’ve always considered it could cause overheating and shorten its lifespan. Thanks a lot!
