For the GTX 1660 Super, an Intel Core i7-9700K or i9-11900K would be ideal matches.

Consider a suitable motherboard, power supply unit, and cooling solution. Since AMD is now more competitive, upgrading to an AMD-compatible board would be a good move if needed.

I believe a 5600x is an excellent choice. I’d pick it based on your budget.

I own an Asus 2390 Prime-P and a EVGA 650 watt bronze BQ. I’d change it, but Intel CPUs are still solid and the prices look decent.

It's a solid deal for 10600k when it's available at a reasonable price.

Sure, I can help with that. Are you looking for specific Intel options to pair with the CPU you mentioned?

120mm or 240mm isn't ideal, but it should work for 10600k or 10400f. If you can afford more, consider a Ryzen processor. What games do you play?

Intel remains acceptable for budget builds, though their premium motherboards reduce overall value. Since you already own a board, it wouldn't be a big deal.

Justr created this Intel build, not intending to change. The cooler is 240mm and I'm using 1080p.
