Hey there, I had some extra cash and decided to shop for a motherboard and RAM. I picked the Gigabyte Z390 UD board. My RAM is an XPG 3000MHz 8GB stick with a 600W PSU. When I turned it on, everything powered up except for the display—just flickering lights for three tries. The debug LED stays lit via VGA, but no screen appears. I tried connecting my graphics card, which worked earlier, but now it’s not responding. After removing the GPU, I swapped in an HDMI port on the motherboard, yet the VGA light remains on. I’m confused about what’s wrong and don’t know if the CPU info matters here. My processor is a Core i5 6400, and I’m pretty sure the hardware isn’t compatible. This setup costs a lot in my country, so I’m worried.

The 300 series boards aren't compatible with 6000 and 7000 series Intel chips. The seller misled you. You should use a 100 or 200 series Intel board instead.

I realized though the person had to debate with me, so I assumed he was the one selling it and I didn’t know anything else.
