After installing the new CPU cooler, another issue emerged. My internet connection failed. It was functioning properly before I removed the motherboard. Now that it's back in place, Windows reports "Not connected" during troubleshooting, citing a missing network cable. Despite plugging it in correctly, the problem persists. I've tried nearly everything—clean installation, driver updates, BIOS reset, power cycle, different Ethernet cables, checking power-saving settings, and more. I'm exhausted and considering replacing the motherboard. I currently use a Gigabyte Aorus Ultra Gaming board. Any advice would be appreciated.

Check for any harm to the motherboard. Verify if the IO Shield metal tabs are lodged in the ports. Ensure all standoffs are placed accurately and the motherboard is properly positioned. Confirm compatibility with a PCIe NIC or wireless card.

No signs of harm, always aim for a static-free area while handling the mb I. No particles present at the start. Definitely yes. I never used a wireless adapter.

I might start with a clean OS upgrade. If that fails, consider using a PCIe NIC or purchasing a new motherboard.
