I swapped my old MSI X570 Gaming Pro Carbon for an Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Hero X570. (Here are the details: Ryzen 7 3700X with MSI RTX2070 Super Gaming X Trio). The machine starts normally, but it’s acting strangely. Observations so far: 1. A few programs are unstable—iTunes is one example, but it worked after reinstalling. Still unsure. 2. My Corsair RGB hub isn’t connecting properly, which leads to constant connect/disconnect sounds and major lag on iCue. 3. No WiFi or audio detected. (Fixed: antenna wasn’t picking up the signal, and I unplugged what I thought was my laptop cable. That’s weird.) Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The simplest approach is to clean and reinstall from scratch. However, that can be quite challenging. Therefore, first ensure all drivers are updated.

It seems you're missing some drivers. I'd first look up a Windows update to check if any are available for your motherboard. Next, I'd visit Asus' website and download the appropriate driver for your specific board. If needed, you might have to reinstall Windows.

During installation, Windows gathers drivers and modifies the registry to suit your particular hardware. Changing components such as the motherboard might not always update drivers or adjust the registry for optimal performance. You might resolve the issue by adding the right drivers, though this may not address the registry changes. In such scenarios, reinstalling Windows could be necessary.
