So your parents want to switch everything to streaming and cut the cable. We already face internet problems when traffic spikes, and now they’re making it worse by relying more on the internet. Our router is the R6400v2 from Netgear, and we get around 120/12 Mbps. We have several devices—5-6 phones, a Nintendo Switch, two laptops, and three TCL Roku TVs—likely to increase soon. My PC and my dad’s PC are connected via Ethernet. Our internet comes from Charter Spectrum. I’m worried the network might crash completely during heavy use, like when playing games or browsing. If you’re in the middle of a game or just surfing, you’ll see the Chrome Dinosaur pop up saying you have no internet or get blocked. Any suggestions? We’re already on channel 11, but we’re unsure what else to try. Help would be really appreciated!

It's actually quite manageable, I wasn't expecting such a high load. Even if things are being pushed hard, I wouldn't think they'd just stop completely. There could be a slow modem that struggles with real speed, which I've seen before. Plus, connecting as many devices as possible would definitely help, since too many Wi-Fi connections can cause problems.
