Good morning or afternoon wherever you are, I'm a Windows 11 user from the Philippines. I recently updated to Windows 11 version "Build 22000.434" or KB5009566. When I booted up, the system asked me to enable the TPM module in BIOS, which I did. The PC started normally, but after entering my password on the lock screen, I was greeted with a long welcome message and then the screen went black except for my cursor. I could move it around, but nothing else happened. I tried launching Explorer, but it didn't work. I booted into safe mode, seeing only the taskbar with no icons visible. Using Win+Ctrl+Shift+B didn't help either. I attempted registry changes to set "Shell" to explorer.exe, but that also failed. After watching multiple tutorials, I gave up and had to reset my PC for a fresh installation of Build 22000.434. It worked this time. I'm curious about why this occurred and how to prevent it in the future. Thanks!

I've noticed in other Windows 11 support cases that turning on features such as TPM and UEFI after installation often causes problems. This isn't confirmed for this situation, just a potential consideration.
