I’m trying to boost this system to its maximum performance.
Could someone help me? I’m completely new to overclocking.
Open the BIOS by pressing delete or f12 repeatedly when powering on. Navigate to the CPU frequency settings and adjust the multiplier option to 45. Save your changes and boot into Windows. Execute aida64 or a comparable stress test for about 20 to 30 minutes to verify temperatures remain stable. If the system crashes, return to BIOS and set the CPU core voltage to 1.34
at its most basic... rely on the solutions Asus offers and proceed gently!
make tiny adjustments one at a time and check after each. on my old i7, I reached stable performance around 4.2, starting from 3.6... that's a decent improvement. anything more than that leads to crashes.
please be patient, use the tools available in the Asus MoBo, and keep going slowly!!!
