Hello,
I've been looking into overclocking my CPU lately, and I've read a lot about it, but I don't want to do any faulty actions that may cause me to regret. I did try OC genie which was an instant overclock that was already in my BIOS system, but caused a BSOD after 2-3 minutes (not even stresstest). My goal is to reach about 4-4.2 GHz.
Here's my setup:
- Corsair CS750M - 750W
- Intel Core i7 4770K @ 3.5 GHz
- MSI Z87-G43 (MS-7816)
- 4096 ATI AMD Radeon R9 200 Series (Sapphire/PCPartner)
- 24GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (11-11-11-28)
- 250GB Crucial SSD
Is this elighble to overclock, and if not - what needs to be replaced?
Thanks in advance!

I recommend searching for overclocking guides using the same motherboard and CPU, and following their BIOS configurations.
Software-based overclocking tools like OC genie are not advised.
You might encounter issues with unconventional RAM configurations such as "24GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (11-11-11-28)."
