Hey everyone,
So I have run into an issue with overclocking my CPU and I am hoping someone can shine some light on it.
I have managed to get a stable overclock at BCLK freq 208(4.368MHz) @ 1.32500 vcore & 1.25000 qpi with HT off but for some reason I can't get to BCLK freq 209(4.389MHz), I even tried raising the vcore all the way to 1.45 and qpi to 1.4.
Does this mean I've hit a wall with the overclock or is there something else I should be changing in the bios? as I feel like for a 0021 MHz difference, a 0.13 vcore increase should be more than enough. I know 0021 Mhz is hardly any difference in performance but I'm hoping to go beyond this if it's possible as my temps are low at max load.
I have a old i7 920 d0 chip.

I encountered a problem while attempting to overclock my CPU. I'm seeking advice on how to proceed or what adjustments might be necessary in the BIOS. Given the 0.13 vcore increase, I thought performance improvements would be significant. Despite the low temperature under load, I'm hoping for better results. I'm using an older i7 920 D0 chip with various components installed.
