I'm experiencing issues with my Gigabyte B250M motherboard... three years after buying it. One day it began beeping—four long beeps followed by one short, then it restarts. This happens repeatedly. I initially assumed the problem was with the RAM, but after replacing it, it worked fine. However, the beeping returned again. I suspect there might be a RAM slot issue or a problem with the RAM itself. I have three RAM modules totaling 16 GB, with three slots used out of four. When I rearrange them in different slots, it boots normally and remains stable for weeks. I'm not sure if the RAM is the cause or the slot itself. Please help me figure out what's going on.

Using two 8GB and a 4GB drive on separate channels could lead to issues

I attempted with just two RAM modules...occasional beeping occurs. This happens in a specific slot, though I'm not sure if it's random or tied to a particular one. After switching the slot and returning it, the issue resolved. That's the puzzling part.

You can verify if the RAM is defective by attempting to boot with each one individually.

I own the same motherboard which only allows one RAM slot. Another stick won't boot and it's an i5 7600 processor with Corsair Vengeance CMK32GX4M2A2133C13. The RAM was a 32 GB set but only one can fit. I can't post with two sticks.
