Your X370 C6H is showing signs of aging, with fewer BIOS updates and a recent install of the 3900x. You're considering switching to an X570 motherboard to potentially boost CPU performance. Regarding the chipset fan noise, it can be noticeable if other fans are spinning in the case during gaming. You might be able to adjust the fan profile to reduce or eliminate this noise, and it should not spin during regular use.

Consider using only 3200 CL14 and see if PCIE 4 adoption increases before moving to x570 or the next-gen based on the socket type.
