The Aorus board has performed quite poorly in my case. Most manufacturers are currently restricting the board market because their firmware is more streamlined. Consider choosing an Asus TuF X570 or B550 Strix instead.

I’d also suggest the X570 AORUS Elite WiFi—it’s quite alike to the PRO and about 70 dollars cheaper. For the X570 Strix or TuF, they’re similar in price to the others. The X570-F Strix falls within the same budget range as the TUF boards.

The tuf performs well enough. By this point, it's quite satisfactory. As mentioned earlier, the b550 boards are also worth looking into. The tomahawk mag is really solid, especially if you're still evaluating MSI options.

It's been on my mind lately. I was already considering pricier models, so I didn't dwell too much. I'm aware it's a well-liked board, yet my current MSI model has made me hesitant. Still, I'll keep it in my thoughts.

Around $50 Australian seems reasonable. It might be due to the pandemic or my location, but the price gap between B550 and X570 isn’t huge, making it hard to decide what to do.

B550 features connections to the CPU via PCIe 4, including the first M.2 and X16 slots. The X570 supports DMI 4 across the entire board. For VRM solutions, a suitable B550 board pairs well with an X570 board.
