Need help removing a script from my PC
I received the annoying "activate windows 10" screen on my PC and needed my dad’s assistance. He found a YouTube video with a script in the description, copied it into a text file, and then executed it via CMD. It caused a lot of stress, so I’m hoping you can help me remove it and get a genuine Windows 10 key.
Avoid executing any commands to achieve this. It's even more problematic than purchasing a £1 Windows activation key from eBay, hint hint (removed by moderation)
It seems you're trying to understand what happened. It looks like the script ran once and triggered some fake organizer activation. To fix this, start by scanning the system with a virus tool like Windows Defender or Malwarebytes. You can also use AdwCleaner if you haven't used it before. Once you have your activation code, follow the instructions from Microsoft's documentation to complete the setup. After a while, the issue might return, so getting your own key is recommended.
Performed a complete system check using BitDefender; all threats cleared successfully. Everything appears safe. Regarding Windows 10 keys, let me know if you need help with that.

Get a Windows 10 home version. Sorry, I need the link to understand exactly what I'm looking at. It's hard to tell if it's a program, a script changing settings, or an app without more details. I'll remember this next time.
It shut down when you halted the script. From what I understand, it tried to link you to a fake server temporarily so your Microsoft activation could be processed through that group. Read the link I shared in a previous post for details on how this functioned.
