what netmask do we need to split our network at 192.168.99.0 into four parts? what are the new subnets, gateways and ip addresses for each one? I really need a real answer so I can figure this out right now! please help us all friends very much!
This looks like a standard test question. In real life, nobody ever splits private IP address blocks smaller than /24. It's actually simpler just to use /24 blocks for everything else. You have to learn this yourself. If you can't figure it out on your own, maybe being in the network industry isn't a good job choice.
Yes it is an exam question, I am sorry but I truly need a solution.
Why don't we just ask the teacher for a perfect score without doing any work? It's not really about getting the right answer, it's about seeing how you figure things out. If your method was to go search the internet for the answer, why would anyone need to pay us? I'm sure the instructions in class gave you some idea where to start. Try that and then ask specific questions.
