You've just assembled a new PC but aren't connected via Ethernet, and your adapter isn't detecting a signal. Consider checking the cable, power supply, or try a different port.

The name of the dongle is not specified in your question. Could you provide more details or clarify what you're referring to?

We should learn more about your equipment and environment. Are other devices detecting your Wi-Fi signal when they're nearby? It seems you may need a higher-quality Wi-Fi card or a Cat6 cable to improve the connection. Based on the adapter you currently use, you might manage with just an improved antenna.

We don’t have to dig deeper. WiFi dongles are often inexpensive and tricky; the OP might try another branded model. I’ve had success with RTL8812bu units from Aliexpress, though none are flawless. The OP could explore TP-link deco units next—this would let local devices connect via Ethernet, reducing network conflicts. I’ve already configured my IP cameras this way on a remote building.
