My system has encountered the same problem, tested two different coolers to confirm. From what I read, adaptive mode doesn't function properly—it increases voltage estimates and adjusts based on assumptions, possibly around 1.38v. I'm nearing stability at 5.1, but using just offset with a +0.050 setting or leaving everything on auto cores still gives me stable readings near 1.26 volts (still quite high). I'm still verifying full stability, but it's been challenging and I'm hoping the thermalright CPU bracket will help with temperatures soon. I previously tried the washer mod before switching to the unify-x boards, choosing not to risk potential issues from the mod. I believe with the new bracket, my most demanding software at 5.1ghz fixed should run smoothly at around 90s or lower, or accept an override of 1.26 volts where temperatures are likely adequate.

I resolved the problem by applying TechPowerUp Throttle stop, setting Limit TPL to 175, ensuring all stable versions, and achieving under 90c.
