I’m organizing my PC build and have already picked out several parts. The list includes:
MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
Enermax Aquafusion ADV 240
Gigabyte Radeon RX 7600XT Gaming OC 16GB GPU
2x16GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 Teamgroup T-create Expert RAM
MSI MAG A650BN,
TEAMGROUP MP44L 1TB
Montech AIR 100 ARGB Micro-ATX.
I’m checking if these parts will handle AAA titles and PCVR, which are my main priorities. The games I plan to run have similar resolutions to the Quest 3, around 2064 x 2208 pixels per eye. Please let me know if any upgrades or changes are needed to prevent bottlenecks. I’m working within a budget but also aiming for long-term performance, and all items are available on Amazon. What is your ideal spending limit for this project? If you plan to keep the build for a long time as new titles are released, increasing the budget would be wise, but you should still be able to enjoy the games listed with some reduced focus on performance and longevity.

So my maximum is 1000 dollars, but the budget I planned was 800 or 700. I don’t think that’s realistic since I want to secure it by building an AM5 setup that remains strong enough not to need upgrading soon.
