I purchased a Ryzen 5 3600 and am unsure which motherboard to choose between the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max and the ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming. I need to consider other options as well.

The tomahawk is the better option. Both models are priced similarly. For the b450, the tomahawk tops out while the mortar max stays at its highest. The Pro 4 and Pro vdh max are both solid choices. All options are considered decent. What is your budget?

You might also consider a b550 tomahawk for a bit more, or a b550 mortar.
