My system freezes when launching games, a situation I hadn’t experienced before adding my GPU (Radeon 6600). Prior to the upgrade, I relied on the built-in graphics on my Ryzen 5 5600G, operating at reduced resolution and settings. The task manager indicates only about half of the GPU’s capacity is being used. My power supply is rated for 750 watts, yet the card appears to draw significantly more. I need a tool or software to track the actual power consumption of my GPU; it seems it might be consuming excessive power unnecessarily. Any suggestions or advice that could help would be greatly appreciated. I built my PC around six months ago and am eager to learn from more experienced users.

You're using a power supply that can't reach 750 watts. Likely the issue lies with the graphics card drivers. Begin by downloading the Displays Driver Uninstaller tool. Extract its contents and boot your computer in safe mode. In the utility, pick the GPU from the dropdown menu on the right side, then select 'Clean' and restart. This will reset your PC and restore normal operation. After that, obtain fresh drivers from AMD's website and reinstall them. This summary offers a concise overview of the steps involved. A helpful video walks through the entire process effectively.

Thanks! That helped resolve the issue. I still have a follow-up—my CPU is consistently reaching maximum usage, and I’m unsure why or how to address it.
