I recently purchased an RX 6650 XT with 8GB (MSI OC variant) at a good price in my country. I’m looking for a suitable CPU to avoid bottlenecks and unnecessary spending, considering options like the Ryzen 5 5600X or i5 11400F. Do you have any experience with this GPU? What are your thoughts on these choices?

Based on the cost, I’d pick the 5600x since it also suggests it can handle smart access memory and likely performs better than the 11400f.

I can find the 5600x for around 150$, and the i5 for about 140$. In my opinion, the 5600x seems to be the better choice in most situations. I also learned that upgrading Intel is more costly, so the 5600x might be the way to go.

Regarding the 5600 non-X, it might be more affordable.

I considered it, but the price gap is minimal. I mentioned I spotted a supposed new 5600 model for $150, and I could get a non-X 5600 for $140. Perhaps a bit better performance for $10 more?

The distinction lies mainly in the clock speed, offering nearly identical performance with only a slight variation of 2% to 5%.

That seems likely given the minor cost variation, so I'll opt for the 5600x version.

However, the cost gap is highlighted as "$30 for a Letter," suggesting the 5600 remains a superior choice when budget matters are key.

I can pay 150 for this and 140 for anything else.

I don't know your budget, but the 5600x looks like a solid choice. For DDR4 and AM4 boards, the 5800x3D is worth considering.
