I’ve been thinking about setting up my PC for a while now. My budget is at most 1,000 euros. I’m considering the Ryzen 7 3700X because it saves me from buying a separate motherboard and cooler if I went with the Intel i5 10600K. However, I’m still unsure what to choose—3700X costs around 300 euros and 10600K about 230 euros. If I add roughly 50 euros for a cooler and another 50 euros for a Z490, the total would be a bit higher.

I understand, but purchasing an AM4 motherboard is significantly cheaper.

It provides better performance at 5600x compared to the 10600k or 3700x. Using eight cores will definitely ensure you get an 8-core CPU.

Think about the 3600 option if you're looking to save money.

Isn't the 5600 model unavailable at all locations and priced higher than the recommended minimum cost?

It looks a bit unusual to find an A520 with a 3700x, as this chipset is generally considered entry-level.
