Hello fellow enthusiasts,
I once had a Sapphire Pure 7800 XT for two years. It began to have problems, so I returned it under warranty and got a full refund. Now I have €560 left but no GPU. I’m weighing the RX 9070 XT against an RTX 5070, both around €620 in France. The 7800 XT experience really hurt my confidence with the red team, which is why I’m leaning toward the RTX. The only concern about the RTX is the 12-go unit. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The 9070 XT is the quicker option, it matches the 5070 Ti in performance, but there aren't as many games supporting it yet. Still, overall it's a whole different level compared to the 5070. You'd need to really focus on DLSS for it to make sense, I think.

9070xt. Yet it’s hard to criticize AMD since sapphire is their own business. Sadly, your case might have occurred with an nvidia board partner too. The positive side is you received a refund and the warranty was applied.
The 9070xt is certainly the quicker option among the two.

AMD cards perform significantly better this generation compared to earlier ones and offer more stable drivers than the Nvidia RTx 50 series currently. If you're looking to cut costs, consider an RX 9070 non XT. The 9070 XT is roughly 15% faster but costs about €100 more. The price difference isn't as stark as it was with the RTX 5070 TI versus the 5080, and the performance gap between them is comparable to that of the RX 9070. The comparable Nvidia card for the RX 9070 would be a 4070 TI Super.

Hello
Primios
. The RX 9070 XT would be my choice in your case. If I had to pick between the 9070 XT and the RTX 5070 Ti, I’d go with Nvidia. However, the 5070 only has 12GB of VRAM, which is a major issue for me.
Additionally, the 9070 XT is about 23% faster in rasterization graphics.
Also, while reviewing your post, I noticed that the Resident Evil 4 remake uses more than 12GB of VRAM in this older game.
I would only consider the Nvidia purchase if you intended to spend more to upgrade to a 5070 Ti.
