Question! Will it be available on Steam? Can you purchase it directly from Amazon or other stores and play without linking it to your account? Is it possible to play without using Origin? I dislike Origin—it only takes a few days to load, and the support is terrible. Its flexibility compared to Steam or Battlenet is poor. Any alternatives? I’m trying to get this game for my younger brother, but I share my dislike for Origin. Thanks!

Based on other NFS titles, this game is only available through Origin. If it shows up on Steam, you probably need Origin to access it—similar to how Ubisoft titles on Steam depend on Uplay.
